In case you missed my latest newsletter: This past week, I was supposed to be gearing up for the release of I Wish I Would’ve Warned You.
Instead, I went outside and twirled around in my yard.
Then I turned on one of my favorite country music playlists and drove around while drinking my favorite coffee.
Then, I took Baby G to Lowe’s and bought a few trees.
What’s so wonderful about this? What’s the point?
Because my dear friends, I’m not sure if it had anything to do with the release of Forever Writing You (or maybe it was some of the lovely emails you sent me about that Glennon Doyle Melton quote) or perhaps it was all those things plus time working its slow magic but…
I finally snapped out of postpartum depression.
No, I don’t feel like my old self again.
I couldn’t tell you who that person was anyway…
I feel like the final weight has been lifted off my chest, and I feel happy.
Truly fucking happy.
I want to hang on to this feeling for a little while longer and share it with my family (who has been super supportive through several months of false highs and true lows–mostly lows) so I’ll be spending this week with them and soaking up every happy second.
If you pre-ordered I Wish I Would’ve Warned You: First, thank you so damn much. Your love of this toxic A.F. series truly means the world to me, and I promise you’ll love Cole & Emily’s story, which might become your favorite in this series. Second, you’ll receive an email from Amazon about the release date shifting.
**Update: I tried to change the date, but I had to cancel it overall due to Amazon‘s policy. I’ll still be putting it out** <3
If you didn’t pre-order it, it’ll be live in Kindle Unlimited upon release, which was always the plan <3
This is also close to the book that will follow after: One Sweet Lie. I’ve mentioned this one to you before, but it’s an office romance (my specialty) with a billionaire + nanny twist. This will be a LIVE launch, with no pre-order, but it will also be on Kindle Unlimited.
In the meantime–between family time this week–I’ll be blogging here at whitneyg.com. This is my forever-happy activity that I hope makes extra plant money someday. <3
I will also be signing & shipping your print books (Thank you for supporting The F.L.Y. Store)
F.L.Y.
Whit
